Packet Radio
Pocket Packet
While it is quite possible to run packet radio on almost any Psion
palmtop, I have produced a number of split screen terminals to make
life easier for the packet enthusiast. These all have basic
features like file capture and sending, scrollback, and are easy to
use. They will work with conventional TNC's but not with modems
like BayCom. Remember that the Psion serial port is designed to
plug into a PC, so you will need a simple null-modem adapter/cable
between the TNC and Psion.

Latitude & Longitude
Locations
Locations is a basic tool which allows calculation between UK OS
NGR grid ref or easting and northing, OSGB36 lat/lon co-ordinates,
WGS84 lat/lon co-ordinates, UTM easting and northing, and IARU
locators. It also allows calculation of great Circle and rhumb line
distance and course bearing. Accuracy should be in the 2 to 10
metre range. This version improves the UTM calculations, and
corrects a major error in version 1.11

It will read all files on the Psion, including the ROM, and files
on a PC connected via PsiWin 1, Rcom, etc. (Series 3x only).

A similar program for the Psion Siena, it lacks only the file
viewing functions of its 3x brother.
